Gunfire reported at Billings casino robbery

Witnesses to an early morning casino robbery in Billings say the man shot at patrons as he fled the scene. The robbery was reported at 1:48am this morning at the Bayou Casino, 5448 Laurel Rd. According to the police report witnesses reported that a male came into the casino dressed in all black with his face covered and pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded the casinos money. During the robbery another employee attempted to stop the Robbery and was assaulted by the suspect (minor injuries only). The suspect may possibly have received a head injury (possibly to the back of the head) during the struggle. The suspect fled the area with patrons attempting to follow him. Witnesses said the suspect fired his handgun at the patrons as he fled. No one was seriously injured during the incident and the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was wearing all black with his eyes and face completely covered. He is described as 6' 1" to 6' 2" and approximately 190 lbs.
