BILLINGS - Associated Food Stores will close its warehouse facilities in Billings, in April.
The company announced Wednesday, it will also close its warehouse in Helena.
In a news release, Kelly Atkins, Associated senior vice president of Montana Divisions, says warehouse operations will be consolidated to the company's Farr West Distribution Center in Utah.
"The decision will ultimately allow our independent grocers in Montana to continue to be strong competitors in their markets," Atkins said.
The two warehouses will close on April 14 and result in the loss of 56 jobs in Billings and 50 in Helena.
