BOZEMAN - A grizzly bear that attacked and killed a man near Bozeman on Sunday has been euthanized.

That's according to Chuck Watson, attorney for Troy Hyde who is the owner of Animals of Montana.

A 24-year-old man, originally from Pennsylvania, was mauled and killed by the captive-bred grizzly at the facility. The man was reportedly cleaning the bear's enclosure when the attack occurred Sunday around 10 a.m.

Gallatin County Sheriff's Deputies, Fish and Game Wardens, and Bridger Canyon Fire Dept responded to the mauling northeast of Bridger Bowl at the Animals of Montana facility.

The name of the victim will not be released until next of kin can be notified.
