GREAT FALLS - The Great Falls Clinic is in the process of laying off anywhere from 10 to 25 of its employees.

That information comes from three different sources, including a current Clinic employee and another who was let go on Friday.

The former employee was told there will be no severance package.

The anonymous former employee worked for the Great Falls Clinic for more than ten years and tells us a letter was distributed, outlining a reduction in force and informing employees that several positions were eliminated.

The ex-employee told KRTV that layoffs were from many departments including medical records, the IT division, and administration.

The Great Falls clinic has not returned any of our phone calls to confirm or deny this information.

According to the ex-employee the layoffs were completely unexpected.

The most recent round of layoffs at the Clinic was in December of 2009 when approximately 50 people lost their jobs.

In August, the Clinic formed a partnership with Symbion, an outpatient surgical services provider; at that time Symbion announced plans to bring in 14 more doctors.
