BILLINGS - Here's the start of a joke you don't hear every day.
Warren Buffett and Bill Gates land in Gillette, Wyoming with an armada of nine private jets.
Want to hear the punch line?
On Sunday, two of the wealthiest men in the world were in Gillette.
A photographer from the Gillette News Record was able to snap off this picture of the Microsoft Founder and Chairman boarding his jet.
Social traffic circulating on the internet, including Facebook posts, from people connected to the Black Thunder Mine in Wyoming claimed personal involvement in a tour the two men participated in of the mine.
A call placed to Arch Coal Incorporated, the parent company of Black Thunder Mine, told Q2 all calls concerning the visit were being handled by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Company and Berkshire Hathaway Incorporated.
Both of those companies are owned by Buffett and have yet to return phone calls placed to their public relations departments concerning the two billionaires visiting Wyoming.
Rumors as to why the two were in Gillette range from an inquiry into the workings of massive coal mine operations to the buyout of the Black Thunder Mine.
