BIGFORK - A former Montana State Football player is facing up to 20 years in jail for punching a customer in the face while working at a bar this summer.

Donald Tudahl, 21, of Bigfork, was working as a bouncer at the Garden Bar in Bigfork, when he says a customer got lippy and then shoved him.

Tudahl retaliated by punching the customer in the face-which broke his nose and may have also broken his jaw.

The incident occurred on July 1.

Last week, Tudahl plead not guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault.

Tudahl has been suspended from the Bobcat program for violating the student athlete code of conduct. Tudahl was MSU's long snapper last season and played in all 13 games.

His hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31.
