Former Montana band member to appear on Letterman

A former Bozeman band member will be recognized nationally Monday.

Andrew Petroff, the former bass player for The Clintons, will be playing with the band Steel Magnolia on 'The Late Show With David Letterman.'

Petroff is a Bozeman native who attended Bozeman High School and shortly after joined The Clintons in 2002.

Petroff has been touring with Steel Magnolia since early 2010, who are currently on tour with Blake Shelton. He has also opened for bands such as Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and Josh Turner.

In addition to touring with Steel Magnolia, Petroff is also an aspiring music producer. He helped in the production of Steel Magnolia's Christmas single "Christmas Time" and is currently producing the next Clinton's album due out this summer.
