KALISPELL- Flathead National Forest officials report that a new wildfire has broken out in Northwest Montana.

The Wall Creek Fire has only burned about an acre so far, but the Forest's Wade Muehlhof says there's concern that the flames will spread.

The fire was spotted by a fire lookout near Bungalow Mountain in the northern end of the Bob Marshall Wilderness, but high winds in the area kept crews from attacking it on Monday.

Meanwhile, Muehlhof says the Condon Mountain Fire on the Swan Lake Ranger District grew Monday with winds pushing the blaze by another 10 to 15 acres south across Condon Creek.
