EMIGRANT - A small fire burning within a few miles of Chico Hot Springs was quickly put out by volunteer firefighters Tuesday night.

The fire was first spotted around 10pm Tuesday, and within an hour crews had it under control.

The Park County Sheriff's office confirms that the fire is out.

The flames burning on a ridge top were visible for several miles across the Paradise Valley.
