BILLINGS - UPDATE: Billings Fire Department responded to a fire call around 3:45 a.m. Friday at WindStone Medical Packaging on 1602 4th Avenue North.
Deputy Fire Marshall Jeff McCullough says the fire caused minor damage to the wall and heavy smoke damage to the main level of the structure.
McCullough says the fire was caused by a humidifier plugged in next to the wall.
The business was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
The cause fo the fire is classified as accidental.
Damages are estimated at $1,000.
The business is covered with insurance.
First Story: At about 4 am there were reports of smoke seen at WindStone Medical Packaging at 1602 4th Avenue North.
Fire trucks responded to the scene. According to its website, WindStone Medical assembles and sterilizes medical products into kits for distribution.
