MISSOULA- The federal investigation into the University of Montana and other local authorities continues on Monday with officials from the U.S. Department of Justice scheduled to be in town.
The visit is part of the department's investigation into how U.M., as well as Missoula city and county authorities, handled allegations of sexual assault over the last 10 years.
We have not been told who they plan to interview, how long they'll be in Missoula or what specifically they will focus their investigation on.
This is a separate investigation from one being done by the federal Office of Civil Rights. Meanwhile, the NCAA is also conducting its own investigation into the University of Montana football program.
