Fatal motorcycle accident in Great Falls

A 26 year old Vaughn man has died after crashing his motorcycle in Great Falls.
The incident happened around 9 pm on Sunday on Flood Road, several miles south of the Great Falls Marketplace.
The driver was traveling south when he was negotiating a right-hand turn.
He ended up driving too fast for the curve, crossed into the opposing lane, and went off the side of the road.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the man struck a metal gate and wooden post.
An ambulance took him to Benefis hospital where he was pronounced dead.
MHP says alcohol and speed were both factors in the crash.
The man's name has not yet been released.
