BILLINGS- A drunk driver ran his truck into a home on South Frontage Road late Saturday night, marking the second time a vehicle had crashed into a home in Billings in less than a day.
According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Justin Moran, the driver of the truck was heading east on South Frontage Road shortly before 11p.m. when he failed to negotiate a turn and traveled at least 25 yards before running his truck into a home at 1037 South Frontage Road.
Moran says there were several people home at the time of the crash, but no one was hurt.
Moran said the damage to the home is extensive and that the truck would have to be towed out of the house.
People inside the home were unable to use a door and instead had to exit through a window of the home.
Moran said the crash will remain under investigation throughout the night and possibly into coming days.
However, the trooper did re-iterate that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The other incident happened when a drunk driver crashed into a home on Granger Avenue South shortly before 2a.m. on Saturday.
