Driver seriously injured after car hits light pole

BILLINGS - Shortly before 2:00 a.m. Billings Police Officers responded to a single car accident. The vehicle had entered the eastbound on ramp at Interstate 90 from South Billings Blvd, lost control and then hit a light pole.

Upon Officers arrival they found four subjects in the vehicle at the time of the wreck, but the driver was on the ground next to the vehicle sustaining serious injuries. The three other occupants did not appear to have injuries.

The driver was transported to the hospital.

Speed and alcohol are suspected factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
