CLINTON - There's some happy news to pass on in the search for a family dog that went missing after a fatal crash on Interstate 90 earlier this month.
Marcia Erickson, one of the search organizers, tells Montana's News Station that Bella was found safe and sound at around 7:30 a.m. Friday on East Mullan Road in Clinton.
Bella is being taken to a veterinarian to be checked out. Marcia tells us that a family member plans to come over from Washington State to get Bella.
The dog was in the car with a Seattle family when they were hit by a wrong way driver on Interstate 90. The Seattle family lost 8-year-old Jacob Gamble in the Aug. 5 crash near Clinton.
