ARLEE - Authorities have apprehended the man wanted for robbing a Missoula pharmacy Friday night.
Deputies had searched the woods for more than three hours near Arlee, where the suspect bailed out of his car after leading police on a chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph.
Authorities had issued a MEANS Alert, warning residents between Arlee and Evaro Hill to be on the alert, locking doors and not picking up hitchhikers in the area.
But the alert was cancelled about 30 minutes later as officers found the man and took him into custody without further incident.
The holdup happened at the Brooks Street Walgreens shortly before 9 p.m. No one was hurt in the robbery.
We expect to have full details on the case later Saturday.
Authorities are telling residents who live along U.S. Highway 93 near Arlee to take precautions as the search continues for the suspect wanted for an armed robbery in Missoula Friday night.
