UPDATE- MTN has learned that the victim's autopsy will be conducted in Billings.
GLENDIVE - Law enforcement officials say they believe a deceased individual found in Glendive Friday night was the victim of homicide.
John Strandell, Chief of the State of Montana Department of Criminal Investigations, said that at about 11 p.m. Friday night Glendive police responded to a call at a home in the Casa Del Rio trailer court.
They found an adult white male deceased.
Strandell said that the evidence at the scene was indicative of a homicide.
The investigation is a joint investigation between the Glendive Police Department, the Dawson County Sheriff's Office, and the Department of Criminal Investigations.
The scene has been secured.
DCI has two investigators on scene in addition to local department detectives.
The investigators will not release the name of the deceased for several days while the investigation is in process.
