MISSOULA - The University of Montana's school of business just got a sweet treat, a cool $2 million!
Missoula businessman Jim Auger owns the Dairy Queen on South Higgins and says the money will go toward scholarships for business majors.
But in return, the scholarship recipients will be required to volunteer a minimum of 120 hours each academic year with a charitable organization that provides services to underprivileged members of society.
Auger donated the money in remembrance of his father who always instilled a sense of charity in his son. He hopes the scholarships will encourage students to remember to help others with their good fortunes in life.
