Couple arrested for manufacturing and delivering 'date rape' drug

CODY, WY - A Cody, Wyoming couple is charged with manufacturing and delivering ecstasy and date-rape drug.

26-year-old Nicholas Meng and his wife, 24-year-old Sara Meng are jailed at the Park County Detention Center. Court documents state while the couple was being detained in Utah for possessing one gallon of GHB (the date-rape drug) and 1000 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) police searched their Cody home. Among other items Cody police found GHB, a pill press for manufacturing pills, a chemistry set, instructions and recipes for producing GHB, syringes and vials.

Court documents state that Sara Meng admitted the couple was going to sell the drugs in Utah for thousands of dollars.

The Mengs bonded out of a Utah jail on February 2nd, and both were arrested in Cody two days later.
