MISSOULA - Missoula police are looking for the suspects who are responsible for passing numerous counterfeit bills around the city.

Police say most of the counterfeit money was disguised as $100 bills, but they also had a report of a fake 50 and a 20 dollar bill.

Investigators say the Holiday gas station on Russell Street, Albertson's on North Reserve and Westside Lanes all reported the fake currency being passed at their business.

Police want to remind people to not only use a counterfeit money pen to check the bills, but to also hold them up to the light to check the security strip.
