CASPER, Wyo. (AP) The state Class 1A and 2A boys and girls basketball tournaments were decided over the weekend in Casper.

Wyoming Indian won its second consecutive 2A boys title, edging Southeast 52-51 in a game in which the final shot by Southeast was waived off by referees because it was taken just before the buzzer.

The 2A girls title went to Tongue River, which upset undefeated Big Horn 55-38. Big Horn had won the three previous games the two teams had played this year.

Burlington came away with both the 1A boys and girls championships.

The boys team defeated St. Stephens 61-48, while the Burlington girls knocked off Kaycee 43-40.
