Car crashes into 'Welcome to Billings' sign

BILLINGS - A Billings teen was charged after crashing into the "Welcome to Billings" rock sign along North 27th Street.

The car was traveling south on North 27th Street when it missed the off ramp onto Rimrock Road and crashed into the sign.

Both occupants were not wearing seatbelts and were transported to Billings Clinic. The investigation continues and traffic is blocked on to the Rimrock Road off ramp. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

The 17-year-old male is charged with reckless driving and criminal endangerment.

BILLINGS - Billings police are investigating a crash involving a single passenger car that was heading south down N 27th St.

The car missed the off ramp onto Rimrock Rd. and crashed into the "Welcome To Billings" rock sign.

Two males passengers of the vehicle are being checked by AMR and one is being transported to a Billings hospital.

The investigation continues and traffic is blocked on to the Rimrock Rd. off ramp. No word if speed or alcohol played a roll in the crash.
