Breakfast flakes give 1,500 meals for Flakesgiving

BILLINGS - It has become a Billings tradition for the Breakfast Flakes from Cat Country radio, to take a collection and provide a meal at Thanksgiving.

Paul Mushaben, Mark Wilson and hundreds of volunteers passed out 1,500 meals at the 22nd annual Flakesgiving Saturday at the MetraPark Fairgrounds
Out of those meals, volunteers delivered about 350.

The Breakfast Flakes on KCTR Radio, came up with the idea because they did not want anyone to go without Thanksgiving. Flakesgiving provides a chance for families to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Flakesgiving also contributes meals to Community Hope in Laurel, Family Services. the Women's Shelter and Veterans Upward Bound.
