Boy charged in Missoula daycare "inappropriate touching" incident

MISSOULA - The 10-year-old boy who is accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old boy at Busy Hands drop-in daycare earlier this month has charged with misdemeanor sexual assault.

Missoula Police say they can't release the details about the completed investigation, but do tell us the 10-year-old boy will face that charge in Missoula Youth Court.

Investigators say on August 15th the two boys were watching a movie and playing truth or dare when the 10-year-old inappropriately touched the 5-year-old.

Detectives say the second assault involving a 5-year-old boy touching a 5-year-old girl inappropriately is still under investigation.

Police are investigating the two separate incidents and not the daycare.
