Body found in Billings, police say victim of shooting

BILLINGS - Billings police are investigating the discovery of a deceased man found in the 700 block of Broadwater Avenue.

The body was discovered in the alley behind 739 Broadwater Avenue Sunday morning.

Sergeant Jason Gartner says a resident was taking out the garbage and found the man.

Gartner says the victim is in his late 30's to early 40's, had several wounds to his body, and died of a shooting that may have happened overnight.

The name of the victim is being withheld until family is notified.

No suspects have been identified.
