BILLINGS - An autopsy reveals no foul play is suspected in the death of a man whose body was disovered Tuesday morning.
Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder said it appears the man died from drowning.
The pathologist was not able to determine the age of the male or his identity.
Linder said the department will attempt to identify the man through dental records.
The body was discovered in a ditch near the Phillips 66 refinery in south Billings around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The body had some advanced decomposition, which Linder said indicates the man has been deceased for an extended period of time, possibly more than a month.
