Billings woman killed in fiery crash, identified

BILLINGS - A Billings woman who was killed in a fiery crash Tuesday evening has been identified.

Nancy Ketchum, 43, died Tuesday when her vehicle slammed into the back of a tractor trailer rig and burst into flames on the South 27th Street I-90 off-ramp.

Yellowstone Count Deputy Coroner Chad Fehr says Ketchum died of blunt force trauma.

Witnesses say the victim was driving a mini-van and was exiting the interstate at a high rate of speed, when the she plowed into the back of the semi's trailer.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m.
