Billings man arrested for stealing vehicle in Heights

BILLINGS - A Billings man was arrested after crashing a stolen vehicle early Sunday morning. Billings Police officers responded to a vehicle theft an area near Dreamers Loop in the Heights.

The victim drove another vehicle and followed the suspect, 26-year old Travis Frasca of Billings. Sergeant Clyde Reed says Frasca crashed the stolen car into the victim's other car at Airport Road and Main Street. He proceeded to point a handgun at the victim.

Reed says the Frasca then ran toward the 6th Street bypass. Officers searched with the K9 dog, who tracked the suspect near the Black Otter Trail.

An ambulance took the Frasca to the hospital with minor injuries from the K-9 apprehension.

Reed says Frasca was arrested for robbery and felony assault and is now in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
