Billings Christmas Eve Snow?

The National Weather Service in Billings has this interesting note; Do you remember when Billings got more than a trace of snow on Christmas Eve? Well...that was in 1996 when 2.2 inches of snow fell. The record snowfall for Christmas Eve is 2.6 inches in 1990. We are expecting 1 to 3 inches of snow this Christmas Eve which will make the first time in over 15 years that has happened. A white Christmas is looking more and more likely this year.
