HERMISTON, OR - Oregon State Police have identified the Montana woman who was killed over the weekend when her pickup slammed into a flatbed trailer as 63-year old Judith Burns of Big Timber.

The Oregonian reports Burns was killed when her full-sized Toyota pickup crashed into a turning semi on a two-lane road just north of Interstate 84. Troopers say she pulled out to pass the slow-moving flatbed truck but then noticed the truck was turning, pulling back into the lane and smashing into the back of the truck, killing her instantly.

Burns had been living in the Hermiston area temporarily. An Oregon man who was riding with her in the truck wasn't injured. Two people in the flatbed truck also escaped injury.
