BILLINGS - Senator Max Baucus said he noticed something missing in President Barrack Obama's push for jobs in his State of the Union Address last week.
The missing word, "Keystone". Baucus continued his press for the President and State Department to okay the pipeline that would carry oil from the tar sands of northern Alberta to the Gulf of Mexico.Baucus said Keystone will bring $80 million annually to Montana in state and local property taxes.
The pipeline will enter the state in Northeast Montana and run through a good portion of extreme Eastern Montana. Baucus said he sees the project bringing in 1,000 direct construction jobs plus manufacturing jobs.
