Attempted bank robbery in Cody, Wyoming

CODY, WY - The Cody Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate a suspect who attempted to rob the Sunlight Federal Credit Union. The attempted robbery happened Tuesday just before 9 a.m. at 1702 17th St.

According to Cody Police, the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect then fled on foot. No weapon was displayed during the robbery attempt.

The suspect is described as 5'8" to 5'10", about 25 to 30 years old. The suspect was last seen wearing a faded baseball-style cap, sunglasses, long-sleeve, camouflage
t-shirt with a white t-shirt underneath the camouflage shirt, and blue jeans.
