ASHLAND - A Montana woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash south of Ashland.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol the victim was a 25-year-old woman from Ashland.
The woman was traveling in a vehicle with a 29-year-old Forsyth man on Birney Road early Wednesday morning, which is about 13 miles south of Ashland.
At about 2:15 a.m. the male driver lost control of the Chevy pickup and rolled the vehicle several times.
He was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the truck.
The victim was wearing her seat belt and ended up trapped in the vehicle.
She died on scene and the man was taken to Lame Deer hospital. His condition is unknown.
Alcohol was a factor in the crash.
