BILLINGS - The Parmly Billings Library Foundation and the Architects for a new library in downtown Billings, showed off the design plans for the new facility to the city council.
An artist's rendering shows how the building might appear on 6th Avenue North and Broadway.
Will Bruder from Phoenix along with Billings companies...the Foley Group and O2 Architecture unveiled the drawings of the two story 65,000 square foot building.
The design is said to be early 20th century civic and commercial architecture.
The design needs the approval of the city council.
If approved citizens will vote on a public bond.
The hope is to have the library built by 2013.
The can view the plans on Tuesday, April 12. Two viewings are planned at 4 pm and 7 pm on the third floor of the library.
