BILLINGS- Fire crews spent nearly six hours fighting a grass fire at Two Moon Park in Billings.

The blaze started shortly after 2 a.m. in a densely wooded area below the 700 block of Yellowstone River Road.

Several fire engines and other vehicles responded to the fire, which appeared to be burning in a small area in the park.

Flames began creeping up trees, but the crew working the fire appeared to have the fire contained and in mop up stage within a half an hour.

Currently, there is not a size estimate on the fire, but no structures were threatened and no injuries have been reported.

As of 8 o'clock, crews were returning from Two Moon Park and information was still being gathered as to what caused the fire.
