KALISPELL- Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry tells Montana's News Station that authorities believe a 12-year-old girl who is the subject of an Amber Alert was picked up by a man who met her online and then drove from California to the Kalispell area to pick her up.
An Amber Alert has been issued for at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday for Jasmine Walker who was last seen at around 9 p.m. Monday night and may be heading to California.
Walker is described as being 5'1" tall with brown hair, brown eyes, weighs 115 pounds and has two surgical scars on her right wrist. She may be traveling with Eddie Le, 28, who is descried as being an Asian male, 5'4" tall and weighing 154 pounds.
Curry says Jasmine was last seen at her mother's home in Evergreen and she was not found to be home on Tuesday morning, leading authorities to believe that she snuck out of the house during the night.
Information has been developed that Jasmine had developed an online relationship with Le according to a news release.
Authorities say they may be traveling in a black 1996 Honda Accord two-door with California plate # 4HVX229.
