UPDATE, Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock has released the following message:The missing person advisory has been cancelled. The subjects have been located. Thanks to everyone who read this and shared this information.

MISSOULA - The Montana Department of Justice has issued a Missing/Endangered Persons Alert for three children in the Missoula area.

The children are Kayreen Burland, 6; Kenyan Burland, 5; and Cherish Burland, 2.

They have been missing since Sept. 17.

Anyone who sees the children or the two people seen in the photo is asked to call the Missoula Police Department at 406-552-6300 or their local law enforcement agency.

The alert from the MT Department of Justice states:

The state has guardianship over children but has allowed their mother Athena Oldhorn temporary custody given she willingly participates in drug testing and is closely supervised.

She did not show up to a scheduled court date and last known contact was made at the Good Food Store in Missoula, MT on 9/17/12.

Oldhorn might be traveling with Lawrence "Larry" Jakub in a Silver Astro Van with a MT license plate of 430546A.

All three children are reported to have developmental speech delays. It is believed that they are staying at the WYE in Missoula, MT then headed to Spokane, WA or to Disney Land in CA.
