BILLINGS - Billings police were called to J & J's Petro-Mart Friday afternoon on reports of a gun.

Store employees contacted authorities after noticing a male outside the building holding what looked like a gun. Once police arrived on scene it was determined that the object was an airsoft gun.

The 20 or 21-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Sgt. Cardillo explained that due to the fact he scared store employees and caused schools in the area to go on lock down, they were forced to arrest him.

The investigation is ongoing.
