A complete look at road closures

BILLINGS - There have been numerous road closures and issues throughout our region. Here's glimpse of roads in our region as of Sunday at 11 pm.

Pompey's Pillar area has closures at Custer Frontage Rd. and Lower Canal Rd., which are both under water. Fly Creek Rd. Is closed about one mile south of Interstate 94.

In the Huntley and Worden areas, several roads have been closed. South Canal Rd. is closed east and west of Date St. Pryor Creek Rd. is closed between I - 90 and I - 94. Squaw Creek Rd. is closed to the east of Pryor Creek Rd. Officials are asking drivers to use caution on East I and Road 18 south.

Meanwhile to the Blue Creek area, Robindale Rd. is closed at the intersection with Blue Creek Rd. Jene Helen is closed due to a sink hole. Two other streets near Blue Creek, Bender and Helfrick are also closed.

In Laurel, Byam Rd. is also closed.

As far as reports from the Montana Department of Transportation, as of 9 pm Sunday in the Billings area I -90 from Hardin to the Wyoming line remains closed. Highway 212 at Crow Agency and Highway 1 in Crow Agency is closed. Secondary 87 south between Dunmore and Hardin is closed. Secondary 451 that runs parallel to I-90 from Garryowen to the Wyoming state line is closed as well as Secondary 384 at mile marker 55.5, which is about a mile and a half south of I -94 is closed. The Old Highway 10, which is east out of Hysham is also closed to through traffic.

In the Lewistown area, NR 66 at mile post 0 is closed. State Highway 81 near mile marker 93.3 is closed due to a compromised bridge that could go out.

Additionally, MDT says if you are traveling to Wyoming you can use Highway 310 down to Frannie, WY or Highway 72, down to Belfry to get to the Cowboy state.

Over in Stillwater County, the flooding has caused officials to restrict several roads to residential travel only.Those streets are: WhiteBird, Shane Creek and Fiddle Creek roads. Stillwater River Road near the Nye junction and swinging bridge and whitebird fishing accesses are also closed to non-residents.
