BILLINGS - Tuesday will mark the 11th anniversary of 9/11, the day of a tragic terrorist attack on the United States.
Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer has encouraged everyone to help a neighbor in need or participate in volunteer service activities.
In Billings a program will be held at City College, formerly the College of Technology, beginning at 7:30am. The event will include sirens sounding in remembrance and the laying of wreaths.
The memorial at City College has a 600-pound piece of steel recovered from the rubble of the World Trade Center. Later Tuesday at noon a ceremony will be held on the courthouse lawn in downtown Billings.
