In fact, the retail industry could suffer far more store closures this year than ever. Brokerage firm Credit Suisse said in a research report released earlier this month that it's possible more than 8,600 brick-and-mortar stores will close their doors in 2017. For comparison, the report says 2,056 stores closed down in 2016 and 5,077 were shuttered in 2015. The worst ...

    Emergency crews responded to a structure fire at 2330 Valley Drive East in Miles City at 11:30 p.m. on Friday. A joint response from Miles City Fire and Rescue and the Custer County Fire Department were initially dispatched to someone trapped inside of the burning trailer home.     The Billings Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 4:36 p.m. on Friday, according to a press release. An unoccupied vehicle was engulfed in flames in the front yard of 1345 St. Johns Ave. A video from Ron Gilbert shows the intensity of the fire. The fire caused major damage to the interior of the car and caused an estimated $5,000 in damages. It is unknown if the property was insured. There were no injuries reported.
