Michael Hayworth appointed as new District Judge

HELENA - Montana Governor Steve Bullock today announced the appointment of Michael Bradley Hayworth to Montana's Sixteenth Judicial District.

Haywerth has served as the Rosebud County Attorney since 2000.

Montana anti-coal protesters sentenced

HELENA - The 14 anti-coal protesters who were arrested at the State Capitol last summer were sentenced on Monday.

The protesters, who staged a non-violent sit-in at the capitol, will each pay a $340 fine after being arrested for trespassing during their Coal Export Action protest.
