State must pay for birth control for minors in Healthy MT Kids program

A District Court Judge in Helena says the state should pay for birth control for minors enrolled in the state's low-income health plan.

Judge Jim Reynolds says Montana's law prohibiting the state from paying for contraceptives under the Healthy Montana Kids plan is unconstitutional.

Whooping cough outbreak spreads to Missoula school

MISSOULA- The Missoula City-County Health Department has confirmed that a Sentinel High School student has contracted pertussis.

Infectious Disease Nurse Cindy Hotchkiss tells us they were notified Wednesday about the case and she added there is only one case in Missoula County.
